For free, visitors will enjoy a unique experience before boarding. Embark in “comfort class” for the holidays "IKEA lounge", the first democratic airport lounge open to everybody. Found in Terminal 3 of Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, the company’s products become part of a relaxing installation – passengers are encouraged to spend the time between flights resting on a comfy bed or sofa, watching TV or reading.
IKEA shows again how committed the brand is to “improving the everyday life for the many” with the opening of its temporary VIP Lounge for everybody to enjoy.
Between July 13th and August 5th 2012, IKEA‘s 200 meter space in the boarding area strives to offer people the relaxation they were hoping to achieve once they arrived to their destination and skip the boring, frustrating dead time before the flight.
The average waiting time in the boarding area is 1 hour and 43 minutes, time that can be spent in one of the 9 rooms - one of them accessible to disabled persons – a living room and a 50 meter supervised children’s area, where the brand’s influence on relaxation can be experienced first hand by anyone free of charge. Once the experience is finished, the passengers will leave rested and ready to start the holidays in perfect shape.
